And, the plugin that we utilize in order to accomplish that. Of course, the strategy behind how to properly aggregate reviews on your website. And, it’s how to mitigate negative reviews. Now, for those of you that don’t know me, my name is Jesse, and I’m the lead designer at razor-sharp.

And, for the past decade, we’ve been helping our clients optimize their online environment. Then, automate their customer lifecycle. Today, I’m going to talk with you about business reviews and kind of strategy first and foremost. Then, I’ll give you a couple of tactics in regard to the software that we utilized. And, our technology stacks on our WordPress deployments so that you can hopefully aggregate reviews.

Ideally, what we’d want to do is originate reviews on those business pages and directories. And then, aggregate those reviews on our website. We utilize a plugin actually called Rich plugin in order to accomplish that. The reason that we utilize this plugin is the simple fact that it gives us the ability to filter out negative reviews. And, filter out things like swear words or things that we wouldn’t want to publish.

Or, it aggregates on our website and or a client’s websites. So, that’s an incredibly important feature that we’ve found in regard to aggregating your reviews on our website. And, as you can see here, this rich plugin snippet gives you the ability to display reviews in a bunch of different ways. So, it can be incredibly powerful. Also, it gives us the ability to utilize structured data in order to display those reviews in search results.

So, we want to make sure that those things are present. And, we want to make sure that we can filter out negative reviews. Then, we want to make sure that we get a lot of functionality. This is when it comes to displaying those reviews on our client sites and also our website.

And, we want to make sure that it integrates structured data. Then, we can display those reviews to the search engine when people search for a product service or business, or our brand. So, those are some features now.

Also, you know, we don’t filter out negative reviews because we want to save the public or anything like that. Generally, what happens especially if you subscribed to our business power listing services where we’re aggregating or syndicating your business information online? And, we’re managing your business pages or directory pages, through our premium power listing service.

Then, that also gives us the ability to mitigate reviews, and or to respond to negative reviews. Now, if you’ve been in business, for any given town, you’re going to get negative reviews. So, that’s just a part of the business. And, we recommend that you mitigate those or manage those reviews. We effectively respond to them and try to resolve any heartache or headache that is out there. And, we all understand that we cannot please everybody.

So, that’s not the point of business, the business point of business is adding an incredible amount of value to the marketplace. Hopefully, you’re out there trying to accomplish that.

Now, during that process, if you want to make an omelet, you’re going to have to crack a few eggs. So, that’s the reality. But, when you do that, you want to make sure that you resolve any challenges that people have. And, that’s in regard to the way that you’re doing business. Generally, that happens within the channel. This means that if you get a negative review on Google-My-Business, you’re going to handle it inside of Google-My-Business.

And, if you do it on Yelp or Facebook, the same holds true in each one of those channels. So, when we’re aggregating all those reviews back on our site in order to display those, and to future customers.

So, it is also to improve search ranking, that we want to filter out those negative reviews. And, we want to filter out those swear words, those comments that are just not good in that respect. So, that’s why we utilize the business review by the rich plug-in. And, that’s why we recommend it. So, that’s something that I wanted to make sure that everybody on my team was clear about.

And also, we provided that to our customers, the importance of reviews can’t be overstated. We want to display and aggregate those on your website, we want to filter out the negative reviews. And, we want you to mitigate negative reviews inside the channel. Or, we want you to resolve any of those challenges. Inevitably, we want to put our best foot forward for people who don’t have a pre-existing relationship with your business or brand.

And, this is done by increasing the amount of trust and credibility and the amount of social proof on your actual sites themselves. So, that’s all I got for you today.
