And then, for our hook or headline here, we want to make sure that this communicates to a specific avatar. Or, it communicates the desired outcome in regard to the hook.
Hey, guys, Jesse’s here real quick, I got another quick training for you in five minutes or less. I’m going to do a tactical website review on an existing project that we are developing. And, I’ve tried this couple of times and ran out of time. I promise to keep the lesson for five minutes. So, I’m going to go ahead and jump right in. First and foremost, for the direct consumer diagnostics site, that’s we’re doing some redesign on their pages in order to increase conversions. Now, one of the things you always want to be conscious of is page content in real estate.
00:48 – How to Craft Compelling Headlines, Descriptions, and Hooks
Now, first thing is to be conscious of its fold itself, everything that you see, before you scroll. Now, on wider screens, and mobile devices, we’ve got call-to-action buttons. And, that is higher on the pages for this size screen. It’s a little bit low, so that’s something to be conscious of. And, we want our short description, and our product title to be as short as we possibly can. Then, for our hook or headline here, we want to make sure that this communicates to a specific avatar. Or, it communicates a desired outcome in regards to the hook to make it compelling. So that people want to read more content.
The hook doesn’t grab them and everything else down the page is not going to matter much at all. So, we’ll go ahead and this is a decent one. But, we’ll go ahead and take a look at all the hooks on the pages that we’re developing. I love the horizontal tabs here because it communicates a tremendous amount in a very small section. So, that’s really great, and that section looks good.
01:47 – What are the things to be conscious of in the test results section?
Now, for the test results section, I want to make sure that we have the image of the test results. And, on the left-hand side, if there are multiple pages, we’ll go ahead and make this open in a lightbox. So, we can scroll through the image and have an image viewer on that. Then, they can see all the details associated with that. Now, on the right-hand side, I want to make sure that we’re communicating the desired result. Or, the outcome associated with the results. Like, how is your life going to be better after they take the test? So, what is it they’re going to be able to do?
And, what’s actionable about the results that they can see within their body, and their business? So, taking control of health is the desired outcome associated with the product offerings. And, we need to be communicating that on a regular basis. Now, if you need help writing any of this content, go ahead and jump into our AI client. So, write that out, and let’s get fact-checked. 04:04 – How to create an Effective FAQ Page for Your Product or Service?
That works FAQs the same thing, we need to make sure we have a specific FAQ that communicates everything about the product and service. And then, it’s everything about setting improperly framing expectations as they move through the order process. So, it’s all that looks good. Again, on the very bottom, we need to make sure that we blocked this section either full width. Or, it’ll create a block in regards to a tile that’s two columns there for that. So, that’s all I have for the product page. Then, let’s go ahead and get those updated. And, as far as the media center and articles, blogs, things, our press releases, things of that nature. These need to be formatted of course three rows across the bottom. And, make sure that looks correct so there’s not as much whitespace.
04:50 – How to Leverage a Press Kit for Maximum Media Visibility?
In regards to the content here, we need to make sure that this is an excerpt from the actual article itself. Or, a hook associated with the code intent. And then, what we need here is the title of the actual press release, or article. So, these are the press releases now on the press release pages. Also, we need to make sure that they’re published by the principal of the company and not me. Anyways, on the press release pages, we need a press kit section. The press kit section will be similar to what we did with the doctor’s nutrition bar. And, it’s basically having all the media built into it. So, any brochures, data sheets, or any logos whether they’re digital or print quality logos. And, anything that we would give to somebody else, we want to make that readily available.
05:40 – Tips and Strategies to Promote and Grow Your Business
Now, in order to promote or market the product or service, we want to do that. And, we need to make sure all the functionality on the left-hand side is working. Then, all the functionality at the bottom of the screen is working. We need to make sure the related stories are working based on a category. Therefore, press credit needs a link to just media. And, the press release, I’m not really sure that, that button means anything, it opens up an email.
So, maybe email if you’re interested to contact us, maybe might be that, I don’t know. But, we need to make sure that we round that off so we have a good media center. Also, make sure that the articles and blog posts are all set to go as well. So, let’s go ahead and make those updates. And, that’s all I got for you today.
