Alright guys, all right. Hey there. For those of you, who joined me live, welcome! This is my first live session in quite a while. Hopefully, this will work out. We’re broadcasting from the middle of nowhere, utilizing Elon Musk’s Starlink. And, our connectivity is good but it’s not great. So, if we cut out, we apologize for that in advance. Don’t worry, you can leave a comment. So, we can go ahead and forward you a recording of this. That way, you’ll be able to catch the recording if you miss anything. Today, I’m going to talk with you about how to remove information overload. And, what does that mean to me? Also, what are some of the ways that we’ve done in our business?
00:53 – Simplify & Reduce Operational Drag w/ Frameworks
You know, over the past 10-plus years, we’ve been helping business owners optimize their online environment. We utilize automation in order to overcome some of the biggest challenges facing their organizations. including lead generation, customer acquisition, and customer retention. Yo during that time, I’ve come up with some belief systems and also come up with some frameworks in order to reduce the amount of complexity.
And I’m a firm believer that if your solutions are too complex if they’re too hard to understand, they’re going to be hard to replicate and duplicate not only from a sales and marketing standpoint but also from a planning and training standpoint. So we utilize frameworks, stack frameworks on top of each other in order to streamline the messaging, what it is that we do, and how it is we deliver our products and services, and then also the coaching that we do. From a marketing standpoint, we utilize frameworks in order to accomplish that.
02:11 – The RazoRSharp Transformational Framework
One of the frameworks we utilized is our transformational framework, which talks about immersion, action, repetition, mastery, and mentorship. Actually, this will give you the ability to kind of remove all the information that’s out there. And, get clear about the course that you’re headed out on. There are two things to be conscious of when you’re talking about building a business. So, the first is the speed at which you’re going to be building it out. And, the second is the direction you’re going in. I’m a firm believer that direction is far more important than speed in the beginning. So, make sure that you set off in the right direction. And, you have the proper frameworks to operate on. Then, that can be incredibly impactful and powerful. So, these are the things that I wish I would have known when I was first getting started.
Stop Information Overload
And, if you are getting started, that’s great. If you’ve been in business for a while but you’re looking to take your organization to the next level. Then, creating easy-to-understand frameworks can be an incredibly powerful process. That way, you don’t have to worry about all the information out there. So, just get really clear about the framework and really transform your organization. As Anthony Robbins says, confusion is the killer of execution. And, I’m a firm believer that you should build a team and then work on executing better than your competition. So, if those two things are true from a belief standpoint. Then, we need to remove confusion. And, reduce the amount of operational drag when it comes to training and product delivery, also. Today, I’m going to talk about the transformational framework that we put together.
03:55 – The Five Areas of Transformational Framework
What do we communicate to our customers? And, how do we remove the confusion associated with transformation? So, there are five areas to the transformational framework. This is a framework that I did not create. But, I added two in regard to the fifth step. So first and foremost, this is in order to transform your business, a process, or anything. My belief is based on my 10 years of experience in helping, providing coaching, and consultative services.
04:28 – Step 1 – Immersion – Stop Information Overload
You need to immerse your clients, yourself, or your prospective clients. And, immerse them in an environment that consistently and persistently drives them toward the result that they want to achieve. So, immersion in an environment can be incredibly powerful. And, a lot of businesses utilize this. They do events, in order to get you fired up and motivated. But, not necessarily the transformation takes place during the event. And, it is what happens after the event, or what you do with the information. Again, this is all about removing the information o reducing the amount of information that we have. And, one of the ways to do that is to immerse yourself in a specific environment.
And, close your mind tight to distractions or anything else that exists outside of that environment. So, immersion in an environment that consistently and persistently propels you toward your goals is a stepping one. And, it is immersion.
05:27 – Step 2 – Action (Sometimes Uncomfortable Action)
And then taking action is step number two in regard to the transformational framework. Again, this is where a lot of people get hung up. They get into a state where they’re looking for more and more information before they take action. And, in my experience, not the best course of action. You’ve got to put yourself in a state where you’re able to consistently test. What it is that you’re up to and create theories or a thesis around different strategies. And, not be able to test those as rapidly as you possibly can. You need to take action, you know. I guess, a lot of people call this or get into the state, they’re super hyper-analytical. And they tend to want to get more and more information. So, they get into this process of simulating information over and over but have never been ready to move forward.
And, this can be detrimental to building out your business. Inevitably, it can put you in a state of information overload, which is something that we’re trying to avoid. And, one of the ways to avoid that is to take action today. Then, test your theories or hypothesis in regard to strategies. Also, listen to feedback from your clientele, customers, or the people that you’re doing the tests on. And, be open to that feedback. So, we might lose you here and there. But, what I was talking about we take uncomfortable action. And, make sure that you test your hypothesis over again. One of the beliefs that served me incredibly well is the fact that rapid testing is in the marketplace. And, it’s better than any strategy or theory that you have in regard to how to approach the marketplace.
08:34 – Segway – Be Open To Feedback From Everyone
So, let the market tell you where to go, then you’re always open to that feedback. Inevitably, you’re going to have a competitive advantage over people who just come up with really great ideas. Then, make huge commitments there in regard to the course and direction of those ideas. So, just some food for thought action is step two in the transformational framework. And, how to stop information overload is step two. to take action sometimes, again, that action is uncomfortable, but it is the way to test the market and or test your theories or hypothesis and get feedback from the marketplace.
09:14 – Step 3 – Repetition – Stop Information Overload
Step number three is repetition. Let’s say that you have some type of uncomfortable action. And, you want to have some type of transformation in your business. Generally, it’s like taking action in a direction that you might not be comfortable with. Or, you’re testing out things that are not inside your wheelhouse or something that you’re comfortable with. So, doing those things repeatedly can be incredibly impactful. For example, for me, one of them was weekly training. And, we do weekly training now with our teams. We do Monday kickoff training. And, then I do training throughout the week, as questions come up and things of that nature. So, we can consistently be moving towards our goal. Now, those training is made up of information. And, there are also opportunities for us to demonstrate the value that we are providing in the marketplace.
I believe that we should always be selling our employees on the outcomes that we are providing to the marketplace. So, they can be part of a cause that’s bigger than themselves. And, that’s part of our training process or the repetition process. Or, something that we’ve done initially that we weren’t super comfortable with. But, over time, we got more and more comfortable with that training process. And, we share information on a regular basis. So, we have a Monday kickoff call which is a training that talks about what’s happened over the last week. And, it gets us grounded for the coming week and then every single day. I work on addressing some of the challenges that we’re facing within the organization. And, deliver those in the form of frameworks training. Then, we’re also selling our existing employees on the work that we’re doing.
12:03 – Thoughts, Words, Action – Stop Information Overload
And, how did we’re moving the needle when it comes to our client’s businesses? So, repetition is step three. And then, stopping information overload is repeating the same tasks over and over. Again, another belief that I have is, you know, thoughts become words, words become actions, those actions, become habits, and then the habits shape, and shape your destiny. So if you can follow that framework and realize that that uncomfortable repetition, or working on a theory and repeating actions over and over again, those actions can deliver a huge result for your organization.
11:48 – Step 4 – Finally…Mastery
And, the fourth step is mastery. Of course, as you test those theories and you begin to master that skill. Then, that’s going to deliver a high amount of return on the amount of time. Or, it’s a disproportionate amount of return on the time that you have. Then, you’ll begin to get more and more refined, in regard to the activities that you have. And then, you’ll begin to master those activities. So, that’s step four in our transformational framework is mastery. And, it goes from immersion in an environment that is going to propel you towards your goals. It’s an action towards those goals on a regular basis. Then, repeat them over and over again, so that you can master those actions. And inevitably, those four steps will help you transform and reduce the amount of information that you have to listen to.
The cool part about this is that over time, you begin to really refine your mentor group. And, if you’re getting access to them online or reading their books, or other things. So, there are going to be people that you connect with. And, the messaging is going to resonate with you better than other speakers of that nature. So, it’s important for you to understand that the transformational process will help you refine the amount of information that you’re taking in on a regular basis. And, this will stop information overload.
13:18 – Step 5 – Want To Accelerate Your Success? Find a Mentor
But, the fifth and final step is what we call a growth accelerator for the transformational framework is mentorship. And this is something that, for me was not an easy one. It came up in this mentality and things of that nature like, I could do it on my own. And, I didn’t need to build a team. So I’ve had to evolve through that process. I also felt like, I could figure it out on my own. But, I didn’t really understand the value of mentorship. And, I didn’t understand training until after several years of being an entrepreneur and in business. So, this is what I’ve learned now. If I want to compress timeframes and shorten the distance between myself and the success that I want to achieve. Then, the easiest way to do that is to find a mentor.
Like somebody that has achieved the level of success that you’re looking to achieve. And, you can go out there and duplicate what it is that they’re doing on a regular basis. Then, you can plug into them to get access to their frameworks. And, learn the things that they’ve learned, through hard knocks and having to learn it the hard way. Or, you can accelerate your success, distance, or speed to success if you don’t have to commit the same mistakes. So, they say that failing forward is the quickest way to succeed. But the reality is that utilizing other people’s failures In order to propel yourself forward is even more a shorter-distance success.
14:45 – Recap – What We Learned About The Transformational Framework
So I’ll recap our framework for transformation. It’s reducing the amount of information that you take in on a regular basis. And, the framework starts with immersion, action, repetition, mastery, and mentorship. So, it’s a five-step framework. And, these will give you the ability to really refine the amount of information that you’re taking in. Create theories then test the marketplace and repeat things over and over again until you master them. And, this really helps you refine your skillset. Also, helps you define who you’re connected to and listening to from a mentor stand standpoint. And, it’ll help you shorten the distance between where you’re now and where it is that you want to go. So, that’s our transformational framework and something that you should be conscious of. And, as you move forward building your business, regardless of what stage you are in the entrepreneurial journey.
Or, you’re a business-level or C-level executive. And, you’re looking to take your organization to the next level. Then, having a simple-to-follow framework can be an incredibly powerful way to do that. It’s easier to train people, it’s easier to duplicate results and get the same result over and over again.
If you have a simple-to-follow framework and you’re able to communicate that to an individual. Then, it removes confusion associated with what it is that you’re doing. Again, confusion is the killer of execution. And, to execute better than your competition, make sure that you remove the confusion as much as you possibly can.
