Hey guys, Jesse’s here, and I got another quick training for you. So, today I’m going to talk with you about how to overcome the frustrations of growing your email marketing list. Now, for those of you that don’t know me, my name is Jesse. And, I’m the lead designer at razoRSharp. So, for the past decade, we’ve been opening our clients to optimize their online environment and automate their customer lifecycle. Today, I’m going to talk with you about how to grow an email marketing list. So, if you’re a business and you don’t have an email marketing list can be frustrating. Or, if you’re in an industry that you don’t believe that you should have an email marketing list.
So, I would assert that you probably have some bias about growing an email marketing list. And whether or not, it would support your business. And, statistics show that having an email marketing list or what we call a re-marketing list. So, whether it’s an email or text message creates sustainability within your business. And, it gives you the ability to communicate with your customers a lot of times. So, for us, we are in the same boat, and we have our biases and opinions about email marketing. And, for me, I get hundreds of emails on a daily basis. So, email communication is not the primary channel that I want to be communicated on. But, that’s not that doesn’t apply to everybody. So, what I’ve found over time is that email communication can be quite effective for people that want to meet you in that channel.

So, that’s really what I hope that you take away from this training. And, that is growing an email list and it will create or build sustainability within your business. Then, it’ll give you traffic to your business, your brand, your offers, and things of that nature that you own. And, that is the most cost-effective traffic that you can generate. Or, it’ll be something that will help sustain your business if there are any lols when it comes to your marketing and or sales efforts. So, if you’re like most people growing an email marketing list can be quite frustrating because it’s an exchange of value. And, what you’re doing is you’re actually asking for a piece of information.
So, I’m going to share with you a couple of items that might help break that logjam up. And, give you the ability to grow an email marketing list that can help drive your business. Then, move the needle on your organization. So, the first thing that we found was most effective when it comes to growing email marketing lists. And, it is defining who you’re targeting before you go out there and refining how to target them. Or, it’s how to grow that email marketing list for them. Now, the reason why this is so valuable is because once you know who you’re targeting. Then, you can really identify the challenges they’re facing when it comes to their business. Identifying and being able to articulate those challenges as effectively as they can.

And, it’s better that they can even really give you an opportunity to connect and build rapport with them, rapidly. So, before you go out and refined how to build a dream email or an email marketing list. And, what I found is most effective is refining who you’re targeting, and identifying what challenges they’re trying to overcome. Then, create resources that they can utilize in order to overcome those challenges. Because what that does is it gives you the ability to create what’s called a lead magnet in the industry. And, it gives them value on the front end. Also, in exchange for the value that they’re providing to you, which would be their contact information.
And, to some people hold near and dear. So, that’s in my opinion, the first step that you should overcome is really refining who before. And, defining who before you go out there and refining how to generate that email marketing list.

04:25 – Building Email Remarketing Lists Strategies
Actually, it really identified and connects with the challenges that they’re overcoming. So, I mentioned this earlier. And, once you really identify those challenges, what you can do is you can create resources that meet them. Then, it helps them overcome those challenges, those resources, and the bigger the value associated with those resources. So, the more likely you are to convert those people when it comes to their data. And, it’s their email, and their phone number. Or, it’s any other type of information in order to opt them into your remarketing list. So, it’s if you want to remove the confusion, or if you want to make it simple. Then, you want to stop the frustration applied to building marketing or remarketing lists through email. And, I’d highly encourage you to refine or define the WHO before you refine how to do it.
05:13 – Email Marketing for Building Customer Relationships
Then, you identify or connect with some of the challenges that they may be overcoming. And then, how you might be able to help them overcome those challenges. Now, what you don’t want to be doing is being too salesy. Or, try to create offers on the front end with relationships that you haven’t nurtured. And, email is a really great way to do that. So, what we do and what we found is most effective is really identifying who we’re communicating with. Defining who, and then also identifying with what some of the challenges they may be facing. For a lot of them, it is related to our industry. And for some of them, it’s not. So, when we’re going out there and targeting who it is that we’re communicating with. Then, what we really want to do is we really want to be identifying.
06:03 – Effective Strategies for Supporting Your Target Market
And, it’s being empathetic to what challenges they’re facing. Then, provide them with some resources in regard to overcoming those challenges on a regular basis. And, these could swipe files, it could be checklists, and they could be training that you provide, or video training. Or, whether that’s live training or On Demand. So, there are a lot of little really great opportunities out there. And, with all the resources that are available to you through live opportunities. Also, it pre-recorded opportunities for webinars and things of that nature. But, it always should be. So, what we found is most effective is it should be built around helping your target market. Or, what we call our dream customers, overcome challenges that are facing their business. First, opt-in them into our remarketing and marketing lists. So, we can own that data and own that traffic.

Then, it’s exposing them to who we are. And, what it is that we do moving forward. Hopefully, that removes some of the frustration in regard to building your email marketing list. I know that it can be frustrating. But, it was something that we struggled with on a regular basis. Now, what we do, or what I do is I sit down on a weekly basis. And, I really come up with ways that we can help our community. Then, we help our dream customers overcome challenges that may be facing them when it comes to online optimization. And, its marketing and customer lifecycle automation. So, what this does is it gives us a really unique perspective in regards to what it is we’re doing on a week-to-week basis. Because if we can create offers, test those in the marketplace, get feedback, and iterate on that rapidly.

It gives us an opportunity in order to make course corrections and serve the market at a much higher level. So, I wanted to give a little bit of some training in regards to email marketing, and removing frustration. And since we’re really focused on building our email marketing lists. And hopefully, you’ll be able to implement that into your business and grow a really healthy and successful email marketing list.
