All right, All right, guys, it’s Monday morning. Be ready for your weekly kickoff call with a focus on marketing and commitment to growth. My name is Jesse Razo for those of you that don’t know me. Hopefully, by this time you do but just want to open up my training here. Good morning and welcome. Today I’m going to talk about local business growth accelerators. And, what we’ve learned over the last 10 plus years of helping local business owners, service trade, and nonprofit professionals. Target, engage, attract, and educate their dream customers so that, they can attract more customers on a regular basis. And today, I’m going to share some great insights. It’s a simple way that may be different than what you’re used to in marketing your local business. And, I want to help you to align your GPS.

We believe, there are two things that you should be conscious of when you’re launching, growing, or scaling your organization. First and foremost is the direction of your organization. Secondly, the speed at which you’re going to go out there and build it on a regular basis. So, our belief is that direction is most important. Therefore, we want to help you align your GPS, your goals, strategies, systems, and your processes. We will show you how to do this in a simple and easy way. Focus on, Becoming an expert in marketing your online business on a regular basis. Today, I’m going to talk about our frameworks and what we utilize with our clients in order to engineer success. We follow some simple frameworks and strategies that have driven success within our client’s organization. It’s because the vast majority of us are inundated or overwhelmed with information.

Local Business Growth Accelerators – a simple-to-follow strategy

We have a tremendous amount of information coming in from all different types of places. And if you’re like a lot of entrepreneurs, you get that shiny rock syndrome or that shiny new object syndrome. Then, you start to learn about a specific strategy tactic or implement a tool. And this new great way to do things comes along. Then you’re off to the next thing before you actually even complete what it is that you’re doing. If you’re a local business owner and looking for a simple-to-follow strategy then, this is for you. Not the entire strategy because of course, we’ve shared that with you over the last several weeks. Every single week we have a belief that you can build week to week. So, we have shared our local legends marketing methodology with you over the last five weeks.

We’ve talked with you about client targeting, offer creation, media planning, ad strategy, retargeting, and remarketing. Today, let’s talk about how to combine those and put them in place to processes as local business growth accelerators. It’s whether you’re in the marketplace, or just starting to launch your business. Maybe you want a local business growth accelerator or scale your online marketing efforts or grow into new markets. You can follow our local legends marketing methodology in order to accomplish that.

04:07 – All About Jesse Razo

So, let me talk with you about how I came up with these frameworks. But first and foremost, for those of you who don’t know me, my name is Jesse. I’m a lead designer at RazoRSharp Networks. And for the past 10 plus years, I’ve been working in the local marketing space. Specifically, I’m in real estate, automotive industry, the health and wellness industry, and really across a couple of different verticals. The nonprofit was where I primarily got my start in regards to marketing efforts. We ran some very successful online marketing campaigns for our nonprofit partners and raised millions of dollars for them. Then, some time back, me and my business partner had a separation in a division within the company. And that was a huge blessing at the time because I didn’t realize it. It was painful because a huge chunk of our income was lost.

But, at the time, it gave me the ability to refocus and rebrand our business into refocusing. What it is that we were doing around developing solutions for local business owners. People who need to target people in a specific geographic area. And, really my neighbors, the people that I ran, the store, and everything like that. It became a really amazing opportunity for that. So, that was right before COVID had in 2019 2020, of course, COVID hit. At the time, I was building my local marketing agency and COVID hit which was another setback to our customers. A lot of our customers stop spending money on marketing efforts. They were devastated. We’re here in California, so they were devastated by all the shot shutdowns in California. They virtually closed down the economy. So a lot of companies suffered from that.

06:11 – Build Sustainability, Longevity & Agility Into Your Business

But, another great opportunity, I think that life happens for you. And, every time you have a setback, look at what blessing, and the lesson to learn or where to go. You know, consistently moving forward or Failing forward is what I like to call it. But, what I found is that the customers that I had were diversified. In regards to their product offering, they had their product or services, a local business, which was their core offer. But, they also had an e-commerce play, or maybe they were selling things online. And, they were getting into selling their expertise and having membership sites and things of that. Not only selling their expertise, but also selling your rewards programs, or loyalty programs. These are really popular for our local business owners. And, they give you a great way to develop relationships in a long term with customers utilizing memberships.

You know, whether that’s a rewards program or some type of membership program. And, you can structure that in a lot of different ways in order to help you grow your business. But, those three areas were the primary focus for the companies that were thriving during COVID. So, we double down on those three areas. Since then, we’ve been helping our clients utilize their primary core offers and marketing in their local markets. And, helping them develop an e-commerce play online. Maybe it starting with merchandise then working towards other things like providing black boxes, and other types of services. But, you’re doing it online, as an expert, we’ll making recommendations for that. Lastly, of course, memberships, whether that was selling expertise or developing rewards programs or loyalty programs for our clients. And, those were the clients that began to thrive.

The Three Pillars – local business growth accelerators

So, we double down on those three core areas. We call those, the three pillars in regards to growing a successful local business. Either launching growing, or scaling a successful local business, we focus on those three pillars. And, those three pillars are what we’re seeing. Create a very stable, sustainable business, regardless of what’s going on in the marketplace. And COVID was a primary driver in regards to figuring that out. With these growth accelerators, it gets you to wrap your mind around those things that are going to help you. And create sustainability, longevity, and then one of the most important characteristics of a healthy, successful local business is agility. COVID is a prime example, you know, Murphy’s Law or, you know, crap happening, shit happens all the time. And, we just got to be prepared and make sure that we don’t have flaws in our business model.

Focus Your Primary Core Offer – local business growth accelerators

Maybe we don’t have a business model that is unsustainable long term when it comes to agility, sustainability, and longevity. So, we want to make sure that we get you to wrap your mind around. One of the ways to accomplish that is to create a business model that has multiple streams of revenue. And it’s focused on your primary core offer that has an e-commerce play and has some type of membership play. Regardless of its selling your expertise, creating rewards programs, loyalty, and things of that nature. These are all ways that you can create those primary characteristics in order to help you grow your organization. So, that’s one of the first things and you know the breakup with our business partner. When we were primarily focused on nonprofit kind of shifted into, we had local marketing customers at the time.

But, it shifted us into those local markets and gave us a new primary focus. So, at the time, we were at 20, in regards to nonprofit and local marketing. Now, we’re about the opposite we’re about 80%, local marketing, and 20%, on nonprofit marketing and things of that nature. So, it was a shift. And it was something that was definitely a huge blessing. That was a primary factor that helped us grow through COVID. And continue to build out in regards to our product offering as local business growth accelerators.

11:06 – The RazoRSharp Transformational Framework

In addition, we talk with our clients about our transformational framework. And, we believe in four characteristics in order to help you transform your organization. Primarily, it’s about creating additional revenue streams and utilizing those in order to accelerate your growth. Secondly, it’s about creating an environment for success. And, we believe in creating an immersive environment for all of our clients. That’s one of the reasons why we do our Monday morning kickoff and our Friday wrap Up calls. And we can continue our ongoing training when it comes to your sales and marketing efforts. Those two calls are specifically designed to wrap your mind, leverage online marketing, and drive growth within your organization. The primary characteristics are to immerse yourself in an environment that consistently and persistently produces the results you want. Now, that’s not going to be the be-all-end-all in regards to creating that environment.

But, you can leverage those tools in order to plug key employees and continue the education process and immersive environment. And, it’s one of the characteristics that I’ve seen, that’s worked for me. It’s like people that we subscribe to in regards to mentorship, like Anthony Robbins. And, some other gurus that talk about transformation, immersion are one of the primary characteristics of transforming your business. Secondly, it’s action, take what it is that you’re learning and take action on it on a regular basis. Now, sometimes that’s uncomfortable action. You don’t really know what it is that you’re going to do. And, you got to build up a belief system. You got to build up a process in order to go out and take action on things. Sometimes when you’re not comfortable with it a lot of our clients are professional marketers.

Originating Your Content – local business growth accelerators

One of the things that we ask them to do is originating content. So that, it can produce, publish, and syndicated online to help share their expertise and what they’re up to. That’s an uncomfortable action so we have a media plan that we give to all of our clients. A written media plan that talks about what you should be originating to demonstrate your expertise and spotlight your work. Then, we utilize that content to create a brand. And to help you extend your reach, influence, and impact of what you’re doing. We’ll be your coach through the entire process. But, one of the biggest challenges with our clients is to get them to take that uncomfortable action. It’s really a process of getting people to stop being so concerned about what people think. This is how the local business growth accelerators work.

Second Steps of Transformation – local business growth accelerators

And to start being concerned or start being focused on just serving people at whatever level they’re at. Taking action is the second step in that transformation framework. Repetition is what I believe that consistency is the key to success. If you think about transforming your body may be in another domain of your life. For Example, to transform yourself physically you begin work out once a week only therefore you’re not going to succeed. You know you work out for a week then you take the next two months off. Repetition or consistency is one of the keys to transforming your business. Also, that is part of our transformational framework, the repetition. Now, the third and final step is mastery. It’s where you’ve done it so many times that you begin to master the skills. And, that helps you grow and drive growth within your organization regularly.

Not only you can pass on that mastery to your employees but you can push that down into your organization. When you master a specific skill, sales, marketing, and are able to teach somebody then, you’ve truly mastered it. I say that whenever you want to learn something, make sure that you’re able to teach it effectively to somebody. And that is one of our local business growth accelerators.

15:45 – Transformation Not More Information

We want you to watch this video because there’s some more information. But, we don’t want information only and just another voice in the crowd or something like that. And, we don’t want to inundate you with more things to think about. We want to give you simple-to-follow frameworks so that you can transform your business. We’re working specifically to help you transform your business not just provide you with more information. So, it’s transformation, not information is the way to transform your business. Immerse yourself in an environment that consistently produces the results that you want. And take action on those environmental changes, you repeat those changes on a regular basis. Then, when you master those skills, they’re going to help you accelerate growth in your local business. So, that is our transformational framework. It’s something that we work on regularly in accelerating the growth of our organization.

16:46 – Aligning Your GPS (Goals, Process, & Support)

And then, we help our clients implement that framework within their business. The reason for that is to help you align your GPS, your goals, your processes, and your support systems. These are incredibly important when you’re thinking about growing your organization. And, the vast majority of the small business owners that we work with have their goals are product delivery-centric. They’re solopreneurs, they have small businesses, and they have small teams and things of that nature. But, the primary concerns they have are all their goals are wrapped around product delivery and customer service. Well, to build and grow a successful organization, you need to have a focus. It’s not only product delivery and customer service but, on sales, marketing, and building out those systems regularly. So, aligning your goals so that you can create those systems within your organization is incredibly important.

And, helping you develop the processes to consistently and persistently produce more sales is something that aligning your GPS. Lastly, is having the support you need in regards to doing it routinely. Once, that becomes predictable, what you’ve done is you’ve created systems in your business. I read a book that I would say I don’t know 12, 15 years ago is called EMF. And, the author of the book skips me right now. It outlines the fact that the vast majority of us get into business because we’re really good at it. Not realizing, we have to trade what we’re good at to master the skills we might not have. So, let’s say that we’re a service provider, a lawyer, an accountant, and something like that. And, we’re really good at what it is that we do.

Sacrificing What We’re Good to Learn Other Skills

And, far as our trade or the service that we provide, we might be incredibly good at doing it. But, we didn’t realize when we go into business for ourselves. In addition, we are also good at some other skills like sales, marketing, accounting, finance, and customer service. And, what we find ourselves doing is sacrificing what we’re good at in order to tackle all these other skills. So, talk to a ton of people that have been entrepreneurs really good at what it is they do. They launched their first business and fail miserably just for the opportunity to learn all those skills. And, they’ll cycle through maybe 123 Businesses before they succeed. Because it takes time to learn what it is that they need to learn to have a successful business. So, having the processes in place, to where you can have successful and healthy sales and marketing.

It’s kind of support the organization or the trade skills or service that you’re providing. In addition to finance, accounting, product delivery, and all those things we do are helping them align their GPS. We help them deploy the software, tools, and ongoing support and coaching to accomplish that.

20:42 – Build A-Team & Execute Better than Your Competition

And, the third and final piece of our framework is to build a team and execute better than your competition. The goal is to compete so you need to have a competitive mindset. And, I think, you probably have the mindset to be in business in today’s day and age. It’s getting more and more competitive as the market changes. You know, people are going to be fighting in regards to capturing more market share. We’re going through a very interesting time. As I record this video, the US dollars depreciating. They’re printing a ton of money. And, there’s going to be some inflation that has to come from that. The marketplace is going to get skinnier when costs are more competitive. When you delivering products and services in the local market. You need to understand how to combat that more competitive marketplace.

And, you need to understand how to target your dream customers. Also, to understand how to create better offers. Understand how to get those offers in front of the right audience at the right time. Similarly, you need to understand how to advertise your offers, process, or your products. And, understand how to keep your business and brand in front of people with retargeting and remarketing routinely. You need to know fundamentally, how to market your business and how to sell your products and services. Because it’s going to get more competitive regardless if you’re in a red ocean. If you’re creating a blue ocean as we talked about, you need to understand these skill sets. We believe the best place that you can accomplish that is through RazoRSharp Networks. How to Transform Your Organization?

So, if you need to target people in a specific geographic area regardless if you have a brick and mortar. And, if you’re a mobile organization that needs to target people, I think that we do it better than anybody. We’re going to prove that over the coming months. So, those are our growth accelerators for your organization. Again, we want you to think about transformation, not more information. You’re probably inundated with so much information, and you can’t handle a ton of noise out there. A tremendous amount of confusion but a lot of gurus and experts don’t deliver the promise that they give you. So, we make sure that we’re able to help you as much as we possibly can. And that’s why we publish so much content on a regular basis. Because we want to serve at the highest level possible.

We want to make sure that we serve you. And, if you’re a do-it-yourself, we make sure that we provide you with the information that you need. To transform your organization starts with the strategy and the framework. Immersion, action, repetition, and mastery are our transformational framework. It’s followed by aligning your GPS, making sure you’re pointed in the right direction with your goals, processes, and support. Secondly, it’s all about building a team and executing better than your competition. As you can see, these three just build on each other start with a solid foundation with the transformation frameworks. And, we focus on aligning our GPS to make sure that we’re pointed in the right direction. Because if we head off in the wrong direction, 100 miles an hour, we’re never going to hit our destination. So, we want to make sure, we’re pointed in the right direction.
